Hi Guys,

I came across this tunic with a super combo of campaign shield (Demjansk) and cufftitle (Kurland). Am I right to think this one no good? Comments please on the flaws.

nice original jacket . I'm not an expert with awards and cuftitle but everything looks good.

Demjansk shield IMO good - but what about its application?

Kurland cufftitle orginal? Application of cufftitle pre-May 45? Is anyone familiar with this particular cufftitle type?

Basic tunic configuration original? - eagle application?, Litzen look good, Shoulderboards look good, Overall tunic looks good? What about it being fully lined with artificial silk? None of my officer tunics have this feature.

Shoulderboards, eagle and tunic all look late war - Litzen seem to have been produced earlier.

Wear on all items seems consistant and fairly light.

Are the shoulderboards mismatched or is it just the pictures??

I remember this one has been for sale for a long time, I have seen other pictures of it and the shoulderboards are really poorly sewn..

Hi Jens, thanks for responding. Why do say the sholderboards are poorly sewn and mismatched? I have looked at the shoulderboards once more but do not see why you think these are poorly sewn or mismatched. Please explain. Thanks.

As mentioned I have seen this before but with difrent pictures.. I was interested but the reason I passed on it was because the boards looked reapplaid, this was maybe 2 years ago before the seller got a new homepage with new pictures..

About the mismatched boards, on my screen it looks like they have difrent waffenfabe underlay material, but it might just be the pictures..
