No expert on this, but they also do not look good to me - especially the black and white cord looks pretty bad.

I have seen the same black and white cords on panzerpionier shoulderboards that are known fakes. I'm afraid I agree with the others here - fake

I do not care for this pair. The problem with the twist piping is it was field applied. So what ever the pionier could acquire during leave such as SS or SA etc. twisted piping was used.
Here is a stack of four different pipings.

I am pretty sure that these skulls are as bad as the tabs.
