              Striped HBT is not standard German HerringBoneTwill material ...
              (unless its Italian beute silk like lining material used for caps liners and uniform interieurs, which had stripes like this)

              and it looks like it was assembled yesterday ...(with collar tabs, SS? now removed)

              Not one I would be comfortable with!
              The color looks Polizei green!
              and the buttons dont show a "deep dish" hollowed back, which you would expect and the shanks look weird (=repro buttons)

                    it more likely american HBT used for american summer/tropical jacket . French fakes are much better done than this one and are very similiar to orginal german hbt jackets.
