M44 Tunic Odd Material

Hi Everyone,

I was just sent this M44 tunic and do not know what to make of it. It appears to be well made but the materials don't appear to be standard and the marking either. The wool is more gray than green. The eagle and tabs are machine sewn, the eagle stitching goes through the lining.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

It is junk, the stamps like that are known to be fakes. Sorry, all modern.

I thought it was but wanted to be 100% sure though. I've only handled a couple of M44 tunics. The tunic belongs to a collector who sent it to me as a possible consignment. I'll break the news to him.
