Tropical KM Tunic

Hi Guys, here is a nice KM Tropical tunic, unissued and made of a courdoroy ribbed material.
Never even had buttons applied, slits still shut.
Nice makers mark, BAW 42 stamped.
Sorry for the somewhat poor pics, it was bundled up in a ball, would definately need ironing.
Desirable???

Very good tunic. Not as desirable as the Heer or Luft versions, but usually much cheaper. Also never issued would make it less desirable to some, but more desirable to others.

I'd buy it if the price was right, though I don't know what it's value would be.

Thanks Mark and Jerry, guess all you need is some buttons, s rings and shoulder boards, size is not to bad.
How often do you see the ribbed material?
Would be nice restoration project

Nice piece. I would not iron it. You might have better success by just placing on a hanger and applying steam.

I agree with Mike...steaming is the only option. Ironing leaves shiny spots over seams and internal components.

You don't see the corduroy tunics very often, they are very sharp looking. It won't take much to bring it up to speed.
