    Gebirgs Tunic

I've recently acquired this tunic which was saved from destruction by one of the large European clothing recyclers. I believe it is Austrian???? Pretty cool, I think and appears unmessed with (except by moths!).

The slip-on boards are attached with a thread "bridle". Although unusual, they look original tailor applied.

I love those Austrian pocket flaps, should restore nicely with a breast eagle. Glad you saved this one from the rag pickers.

The branch colour of the Collar tabs looks like

A bonus is the Edelweiss in Officers quality
