WH 1940 trousers

Dear all,

I have the opportunity to purchase these Heer 1940 trousers.
As you can see from the pictures, trousers are heavily damaged.













2 questions :

In terms of authenticity, the trousers look fine to me => we would have here genuine 1940 trousers... Do the WAF members agree ?

In terms of price, I can have it for 300 EUR = 420 USD. I feel the price is a bit high, but I've been told by a fellow collector that in mint condition, such trousers can reach 1800 EUR (=2500 USD). Hence my question, is the asked price fair ?

Original M40 combat trousers. They are very salty, perhaps worn after the war and several times repaired...like a lot of combat trousers (due to the shortage of garment after the war).
Mint M40 combat pants are about 1000 euros, the last one I bought to a WAF member was 900 euros and it was stone mint (thanks Lassi !).
So, I think 200 euros for this one is the maximum. IMO 300 euros is too much

They don t became more in the next years, so a think you can go til max. 300 bucks in my opinion
