            Greetings All,

The Coastal Artillery cap eagle is a reproduction. The gold on black sports eagle is not a favorite of mine and I believe it is a reproduction also. I can't say anything about the luft stuff.

            Fred

The coastal art cap eagle is a type that was long thought to be a reproduction but that is no longer the case, as it has the step where the wings join the body. It is now thought to be French made. I assume Fred has forgotten this or maybe he still thinks it is bad.

All the badges are original and there is a lot of rubish talked about this type of coastal Art eagle its just a maker variation i have had a similar one condemed on the forum that came back from WW2 with a reletive of mine some say fake some french but it is probably just a diferent maker to the norm

                      Hey Jerry,

You are so right. I saw the twisted threads and thought it was good, saw the excess material and thought it was bad and totally missed the wing. I'll blame it on the CRS(Can't Remember ****).

I still don't care for the sports badge and probably never will.

                      Fred
