I have been offered these in a trade and wondered what others thought?

    Thanks,

And the tunic eagle The back looks ok and my camera decided to start taking pics in a funny orange shade, so this will have to do. Also posted a detail of the cap cut-off.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

The cap cut-off is especially nice, nice to see both sides of the zig zag stitching!

              Greetings All,

I like both pieces! The cut-off is nice because you see the stiffener from the hat.

The 2nd example (breast eagle) is definately Bevo but the 1st excample looks like bevo style done in an embroidered method.Compare the thickness of the cap eagle to the definate bevo breast eagle.
                    Interesting
Im only familiar with the Bevo style of cap eagle in this format.

Both are fine. Would love to have a cap cut off like that in my collection. Matt

It is Bevo, its just that early examples have a fatter look to them. Notice the eagle at top left posted below

                        Thanks,

Here are the two photographed together, front and back

Not the same, but both with the 'plumper' look.
