    Infantry Tunic"Old Style"

    Hi Friends,
Found this Feldrock direct by the family, complete with the badges. What do you think? Is he modified? Strange that all the buttons are in Luftwaffe blue, marked "A&S-42".Came with his overcoat.
    Marked inside.
    Please give me your opinions.

    Many Thanks

        Hi
It looks like a highly modified waffenrock ( construcetd in 1938), most likely to be used for use as walking out tunic. The quality of the cloth lokk like a private purchase.
It look nice. In this type of conversions the cloth used on the pocket construction is ussually not a perfect color match.

Juan is correct - the waist seam identifies this as a converted enlisted/NCO Waffenrock, judging from the interior stamps. Looks like they did a decent job, even if the cuffs don't quite match.

I agree with the above, the dark grey buttons were used by the Army. The owner's name may be the one stamped on the dagger hanger. You may be able to find more out about him here-
