DAK Scene from the movie Patton

    Hello folks,
I collect lobby cards and I thought you would like to see this scene from the movie Patton. The card was too big to scan all of it, but you get to see the main part.

The uniforms don't look too bad.

    Regards,
    Jody

    Yes,
Not bad for the times...like the staunch lad in the background with the K98 pouches....with the mp40
That tan m40 cap would fetch a nice coin on epay
    Mark.

Hard to believe that movie is now 40 years old--it is still as entertaining as the day it was made.

I can recall many of the extras DAK uniforms being sold at shows in the 70's.

Jody, as always, thanks for the memories.....

Didn't Rommel wear captured British disposeable dust goggles?

              Hello,
Yes you are correct. Those British dust goggles used to be very common and I had several pair (You could buy the whole pack for around $8). Now you can't find them. I wish I could locate a pair. Regardless, I still think it is a cool lobby card and I am going to have my friend frame it.

Stonemint, I agree the movie is still as good today as it was when I saw it at the theater when I was 5 years old.

              Regards,
              Jody

They used to give a pair away at Unique Arms at 600 Slaters Lane in Alexandria Virginia with every purchase one made. They used to have original SS parts daggers for $98.99. Boy is that going back in time.... kinda gives my age away don't it... LOL
