Gloves....Opinions?

I just received these gloves, which I will display with my Cavalry Officer's Tunic. they have the smell of VERY old leather, but they are as supple as butter...

I'd like your valued opinions and comments, if you'd all be so very kind as to offer them.....

What would the RAM mark stands for? Perhaps Reichs Aussen Ministerum, for it is underneath an official eagle?
