That is a first for me, light weight RH era moleskin modified into the style of a late 1920s piped service tunic. The Kraftfahr and then Panzer Abwehr stamps match up to the piping. Very interesting example, the tress is the later style of the mid-30s neat.

How is the collar sewn on the inside where the stitching goes through the back of the jacket?

Would the collar cover this stitching when it is worn?

I think this stiching is the rest from the first old collar...?
I will have a look and make some pics of the stitching inside

The issue collar would have been of the same material as the coat body and machine sewn like issue EM tunics. If everything is original, I am guessing based on the cut of the collar, tresse type, and badge cloth color it looks like it probably was modified around 1935-38.

                        Lower arm

                        Carsten:

Can you post a photo of the lower part of the arms - which shows the detail on the tresse?

                        Thanks,

                        Shawn

it´s not the old stiching on the back. have a look on the photos. it´s the stiching of this collar.
