Hi, it would be standard heer trop litzen, unless its for an officer, who might choose to use continental bullion examples, though many used the enlisted types.

How are you? I don't have any reference book nor website told me different tropical litzen. I need help as I am putting a DAK 3rd recon display at MOTAT in March. Do you know what's the emble/insignal for the DAK 21 Panzer Division for 3rd recon battlion? Any help is appreciated.

The vehicles' insignia look very similar to the one depicted below ~ which is from Bender & Law, "AFRIKAKORPS", p. 234-35, #19. That resource identifies the insignia in diagram no. 19 as follows: "19. Flak Battery (mot)."
