Kriegsmarine ??

I recived a pair of shoulderboards this week, I bought them as kriegsmarine but I wonder... I tought KM was dark blue on the back, but thise are black.
anny toughts about this ?

Hi, Pioneer seems most likely if they are black, and heer officers pips should be gold/bronze coloured, though often you see nco's with gold and officers with silver. I think senior officers have silver pips, but if true, is not relevant to this thread.
I think there are shape differences between pips, but whether that is to do with arm of service, or date or manufacturer variation, I'm not sure

They are Army IMO, looks like they were poorly stored and oxidized from moisture. Pips turn all kinds of colors depending on the quality and type of finish as well as exposure to differential environments etc.

yeah I agree with you guy's , it seems like it is army pioneer boards, well no problem for me since I collect all branches :-)
