Original jacket,replaced insignia,IMO.

I agree with Glenn- The tunic is very heavily used and soiled yet the insignia appears unused etc. and eagle appears to show older stitchlines. Can you post detail shots?Comment

No these are the only photos I have of it, but if the tunic its self is the original item I will be happy with it.

It is an original M40 recieved at the Berlin II Depot in 1940. I could be restored with worn insignia and given a matching appearence etc. if you would want to do that. It looks okay for display as is.
