A novice question

Hello guys,

I don't know much about Uniforms.
I would like to ask you about, that the officers and high ranked officers wore the same tunic?
So same collar tabs,eagle, visor cap... only the shoulder boards were different?
The colour of the tunic is also same?

Uniform question

I will try to help.

In the Heer, rank of Leutnant to Oberst wore the same collar tabs and the shoulder boards were different. I think Generalmajor to Generaloberst wore the same collar tab with a variation for Generalfeldmarschall.


Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS had rank variation in both the collar tab and shoulder board.
