Original WWII M-36 Heer Cap Eagle??

Hi all,

About a year ago I bought this original (what I thought it would be) M-36 heer cap eagle.
For some time I'm trying to sell it and yesterday someone told me that the eagle could be a replica. Cause it has 4 feathers on the wings and not 5 like it should.
I hope you guys can help me out to find out if it is a original one or a replica and what would be the value of it?

Original "cap" eagles had only 4 segments.

Original "breast" eagles had 5 segments.

Your information source sounds a bit misinformed.

It is a cap eagle and it looks ok.

Looks like grey eagle on my screen, which would make it an m39.
M36 were white.

Could be my screen however.

I cant give you a value as im not up on the current values of these.

You don't got cheated, because it's an original insignia and you were willing to pay that ammount for it.
