HBT, any good?

Hello all,

I'm way out of my area with this one... it suddenly popped out in here and I might have a change to buy it.. if original I'll seriously consider it since it's in nice shape.

I've read HBT threads in here and I must say this looks quite good... but I know that I could be fooled with a ground-up repro so I'd very much like to have your help.

If ok, 2nd question is how much to offer for current owner... I already asked a price but I got the normal "make me an offer" reply..

I got several pics from the seller/owner and will be posting those here. Unfortunately one of his emails was lost in cyber space and that had pics from collar tabs & eagle... He'll re-send it later on so I'll post those pics as soon as I get those! Unfortunately many has too much flash on it...

If needed I've bigger versions from each pic posted.

I've got a small laptop with me at the moment but the detaiuls so far looks good enough to me (a double take of markings is nice!)...toss those boards tho!

Original tunic and the boards are real, in fact very nice examples they were mainly used prewar/very Early War but also are seen on photos at Wars end.

Maybe these change it all, just received pic from eagle, eagle back and collar tabs

Here is the eagle. With my VERY limited experience it looks like machine sewed from top and rest by hand.

Eagle from the lining side. Seems that only machine stitched top line is visble.
