    not dak eagle but NCO egles for continental jakcets ( privat purchased ).

        Its and early flatwire eagle for wear on dress tunics, I have seen some sewn on combat tunics by NCOs and some officers but usually seen on the waffen rocks. Worth around 50 USD. Nice bird! Matt

            It has also been cut down, usually there is a field gray edge around the outside.

              Thanks guys.

              Oh well it was worth a shot, a DAK eagle is woth a lot more down here than a standard eagle, I wouldn't want anyone getting a bargain . Thanks Erwin.

                Before there were reference books these were often called "DAK officers eagles".
