There is no name tag inside the tunic. I do have chain of possession from Bill Shea of how he obtained it and from whom.

Both the tabs and the boards look like textbook lemon yellow for signals to me? Is that your lighting?

They are Golden Yellow -- for Armored Recon. It could be the lighting. They are also a little faded but they are consistent with Tabs that I had for a 24th Pz Black wrap that I owned as well.

Are you sure this is a GD tunic ??

You are free to contact Bill Shea to discus this tunic. I have handled and owned several GD tunics and this is correct in everything that I have seen on this tunic. Other members of this forum have also handled this piece as well.

I can try to see if I can shoot some in natual light. The color of the Waffenfarbe is nowhere near the color in the photos ... its a distortion. I will not be able to do so until tomorrow evening.

I had asked about the coloring of the tab and strap piping, to me on my monitor they look like signals. The seller has indicated they a Cavalry and it is discoloration from the photograph. I will post these boards for comparison-

Johnny with all due respect. I am confused. If the question is about the color of the tabs then I have already commented that I will take photographs as best as possible. I have a very inexpensive camera. The pixelation and the light will make a severe difference so depending on the camera you are taking your photos and the light then it will make a difference in how they show up and your comparison is not relevant to the actuality of the colors for the Fabich uniform.

I have been collecting long enough to know the difference between signals and Calv/recon. I am saying that these tabs are golden yellow not lemon yellow-- and yes I also see the bright yellow on my screen for the Fabich uniform --- its not anywhere near the actual color. It is night and raining heavily in atlanta. Daylight photos are not possible. If the question on authenticy of this uniform is premised on the color of the tabs then I will let you know that is not an issue in this case.

You are selling a tunic at our forum. You are asking almost 7 K dollars. I would like to get better photos and a strong provenance for that price. BTW welcome to the forum.

I'm the one who started this when I saw it for sale. I asked whether this one was named. I did so because I have a very strong believe that it is a GD made up one. No GD cyphers on the shoulder boards, the GD CT is sewn on it as if a housmaid did it. And the pic that goes along with it gives no proof that this man is indeed a GD member. Come on guy's, such a high ranking officer with no GD cyphers, with a fluffy GD CT ??!!
