Volkssturm Armband

what do you think about this Volkssturm Armband. I have seen only few of them but most had rather sharper detail than this one. Is this a normal variation of the originals?

Looks like it has an unfinished bottom edge? There were lots of variations of these, I think this has a good chance of being original.
