What's this KM insignia?

Hi All,
I haven't seen this insignia before of 3 parallel bars (?light blue perhaps) on the right sleeve of a KM Matrose. Any idea what it means?

Norm, three red bars.

These were used to identify the divisions of the starboard of the see men careers.

1 - one bar, on the right sleeve 1st, on the letf 2nd
2- two bars, on the right 3rd and on the left 4th
3 - three bars, on the left 5th and on the left 6th

Yours is 5th starboard division.

Thanks Eduardo. I'm not familiar with the term "starboard division" - is that referring to the divisions within the crew of a single ship and if so were they always divided into 6? What was the German name for starboard divisions?

Hello Norm

Also to clarify, its just not starboard, also port watch.
Only junior NCO's and EM were assigned to such watches.

Steuerbordwache (starboard watch) wore the stripes on the right sleeve.
Backbordwache (port watch) wore the stripes on the left sleeve.

Also the usage of these stripes were on destroyer size vessels or larger.
And only seamen career junior NCO and EM would have been these division watches.
