    Camo patterns.

Hi all,if I may add my 2 cents regarding winter camo matters, below are some pictures from my rather small collection of camo gear showing that the splitter 31 pattern remained in all the variations of the camo patterns till the planned replacement with the Leibermuster pattern. These pictures show one of the two main colour blocks which I always look for when dealing with the camo clothing,I always look for the shape that looks like a small boot visible in all these pics.
Pic 1 splitter 31 first camo pattern for the winter suit, shown here on a zeltbahn but same pattern for the Winter suit.
    Pic 2 reversed colour jacket.
Pic 3 should be the so called fuffy edged pattern but I do not have one of these yet, perhaps Edwin the Sumpfking could provide a picture with the same view?
    Pic 4 Sumpf 43.
    Pic 5 Sumpf 44.
    Pic 6 Brown Zelt.
Pic 7 The second main colour block of the splitter 31.

Hope this may be of some interest.Regards Hans.

Nice work Hans, but this was already done before ( see my book)
In Vincent's book a nice selection of the camo patterns used for winter camo uniforms will be displayed.
In my book on zeltbahns several splinter patterns that were never covered in depth before will be unveiled

                  Wait and see !
There is much more than what is commonly known so far

                        Steiner,

The jacket still qualifies as an original example, according to my research that is.
Feel free to give your own opinion, but if you choose to do so, please add weight to your statements by giving facts (something that ought to be done more here on the WaF and other fora as well).

                        Regards,
                        Vincent S.
