I would like to hear opinions on these 2 birds. I have searched the threads on coastal artillery eagles, but the photos are gone from most of them so they aren't much use to me.

I'm very interested in KM eagles but I'm fairly recent to this field, and limited by lack of 'in hand' experience. That first BEVo style looks mighty strange -- the small wing feathers are of different widths, whole shape and weave seems different from what I've seen so far (in an admittedly limited experience), and that backing it's sewn onto is very odd -- is that a woven wood lattice? - which conveniently prevents you from seeing the back of the weave.
Have you seen the good one in the thread:

Your bullion eagle background material is an odd bright green shade (unless it's a camera issue).
Best regards,
---Norm

I picked these up back when I just concentrated on collecting guns and didn't really know much of anything about TR stuff, so no great shock. The funny thing is I still really like the bevo one just because it is so odd, even if it is a fake. It gives me half a mind to start collecting bizarre fakes!
