      No, never noticed the double loops. Concentrated on the weave pattern and overall construction. My shirts of this model both have normal loops and buttons.

            I have only my iPhone at hand, but from the first glance I think the shirt discussed here and the one You bought at eStand are identical.

            Can't say anything substantial. Field mod or post-war mod like the buttons?

                Can we see images of the inner sewing for the loops?
                If the thread matches the rest of that used to construct the shirt, I'd have strong reservations as to calling it a WWII manufactured item.
