    FL fleigerblouse for review

As I posted pictures of this blouse on the FJ forum, I am starting to get some very bad vibes as to it originallity. Mainly the cuff title. I dropped a ton of money on this blouse and I need to hear comments from this forum before I contact the owner with my findings.
Lets put this up for discusion here as well.

I looked at this tunic at the SOS. I know nothing about cuff titles, so I can't comment on that, but I just got an odd vibe from it - in other words, I felt at the time it was probably a put-together piece with original insignia. There was nothing that really jumped out that screamed "fake", it was just a gut feeling.

The eagle is original and might have a chance to belong originally to the jacket...
Cufftitle is added later and is not original IMO..
                        Ribbons have been added postwar.
Jacket, straps and patches seem original.

Fake cuff title, eagle looks original but I can't give a thumb's up on it's stitching even though the way it is stitched is correct (something I'd have to see in person to evaluate). The tabs are probably good, I have seen that style and application before. Basic Fliegerbluse itself is original as are the boards. Ribbons likely added postwar.

I agree. My feeling is that the eagle is post war sewn. I have had a few FBs in my time and I have never seen or owned a factory application sewn like that.

                              Hi there!
I think that the jacket is good with post war applied insigna. The tabs could be good, but re-applied almost for sure. The eagle too, seems to me add after the war. The zigzag sewn appear little tight (but sometime seeing) and the thread too much bright blue to be there till the second world war, without any aging as the other threads.. quite strange! The shoulder boards looks ok, with the same 'sent' and aging of the jacket. I agree with Jos about the cufftitle: not original by me... At least even the ribbons are applied with a not correct way.

                              Cheers!
