in the mid 70's I had a Der Speiss uniform. that was a real
'garrison Queen ' this picture reminds me of it.
It had closed cuffs and sewn down pockets.
It was notable that the 2nd button had been held on to the front
flap with a split ring and a peice of material sealed it off.
Then at a slight down angle a 'pocket' had been made from silk /
rayon material to hold 75% of a standard notebook.
Otherwise I would think these notebooks would slide in or slip out
while walking.
Do any members have Der Speiss tunic with this conversion they can
show.
