help re luft tunic and price

i saw a luftwaffa tunic today with red collar tabs with four or five eagles on each,eagle to left chest,inside a stamp in black with 1936 and other markings.wear above left breast pocket,was told a gunner/flight tunic??? havn't got a pic yet but will try asap...asking price was £250 any good?? i understand without pics a problem.carn't remember what the shoulder tabs were like but any ideas greatly recieved in advance

Red collar tabs are Flak so it couldn't be a Flight tunic. Sounds like a good deal if it is original and has 4 gulls on the collar tabs. Do you remember if the collar had silver tresse around it?

i will look at it again tommorow and get all the lettering etc from the inside and check out the other bits

a little like the pic but this one has wide cuffs.the collar piping is only red not silver and red. the shoulder straps only have red edge not silver/red.on left arm a triangle upside down in silver with two thin blueish strips making smaller triangles.in the jacket the markings show as best as i can see 1936,11.\flak fig 25,8l b-1. then ia m.o.res.kp 303 res.zug, f11? starnm-b ?,augsburg.over all in good condition with minor stiching to right sleve and inside of collar slightly come a drift but would mend no problem...with all this in mind give me a price of what it may go for...many thanks again

sorry forgot it has silver buttons up the front,on chest pockets,on collar straps.buttons do not have symble on them just little raised dots

Sounds like a Hauptgefreiter 4 pocket service tunic. If all the insignia is original to the piece this would be about a $500 piece, maybe more. The markings sound very nice and add to it's allure. Pics would be great if you can get some, I for one would hate to see you plunk down your money only to find out everything is either postwar added or outright fake. Good luck--

It is very difficult to make judgements about a piece from descriptions. I'd hate to give you a thumbs up and have it turn out to be a post war put together once you were able to post pics.
