Inf Major tunic with DKiG. Opinions pls

I have the opportunity to buy this Majors tunic but there are two things which concern me and need your opinion.
1st, Is the breast eagle orginal and to the tunic? I noticed that the ageing on the collar patches doesn't match the breast eagle.
And 2nd, I'm certain the cloth DGiG is original but not so sure that it was applied war time. I'm sure that some of the loops have been applied after the war and a few of the buttons have been restiched.
Tunics are not my thing but I do like this one if all is good. It would be a great addition to my named DGiG to a Major in Inf. Rgt. 199 "LIST".
I would be greatful for you opinions.

I don't like anything I see regarding the 8 button front, external pockets, IMO it looks like something put together for a movie or by a collector.
