Complete Uniform, almost there.

Been trying to complete 1 uniform. Almost there. Just need socks, underpants, backpack and knife fork and spoon, Think its all okay except maybe 1 ammunition pouch and the shirt but hey its not easy. If you can see anything else I need let me know, the pants are original but I think maybe for an officer, slightly different colour to tunic.

collar insignia and nco tresse, tunic is the best part had it for several years, shows signs of use and has several period repairs.

you've got some nice items...
if i'm allowed to, i would like to comment a bit...
First of all, you might need an entrenching tool & cover, as this is IMO the most important piece of equipment carried by the german soldier. You also need equipment straps for the messkit and Zeltbahn and as already said, a K98k rifle would be more than useful (with cleaning kit in the breadbag... )
This particular variant of Y-straps (with stitching around the front rivets) were issued very late in the war. I've never seen them worn on period pictures before the year 1944. Send me a PM if you're interested in more infos/comments...

very nice set you have there but how about a feild-dressing, only a small item but important

yes you're right, it was really important....but in this case, he needs two field dressings, the small and the large one, both in the Feldbluse internal pocket...(why not the Soldbuch in the breast pocket (per regulation)...or condoms, cigs, playing cards, ID tag, antigas ointment (per regulation), letters from the fiancée or mother..... )
everything is allowed....if chronogically accurate....
