Artillery Hauptmann Shoulderboards - Army or Luftwaffe?

I just picked up this really cool set of heavily combat-worn shoulderboards for a Hauptmann (Captain) of Artillery. One of the pips was field-made, adding to the baords character. My question is, are these boards Army Artillery of Luftwaffe Flak - or could they be either? All opinions are welcome!

My vote = LW as these are shiny... Army would use the sub-dued types for field wear and these are heavily used...as you put it "combat worn"...
Shiny army ones would be for parade wear, "best dress" home leave uniforms, and I doubt those would end up in this condition...but of course there are exceptions, you can't really prove it either way...but the likelyhood is LW !

I'm with Nick on this for the reasons he stated. If they were in my collection they'd go in the Luftwaffe 'section'.

This prompts me to ask a question that,s been puzzling me since I started collecting shoulderboards, I know the difference between Heer and Luftwaffe NCO boards is in the pattern of the tresse, but are the officer boards the same for both arms or is there some difference the knowledgeable would spot easily? and while I,m about it how are ss boards different from Wehrmacht boards? Thanks, Peter.
