I received an email from Pete on Friday saying that he was preparing to go on a two week vacation. I do know that he has hired some help... Maybe the help is falling down on the website updates.

I knew that tunic would be snapped up quickly. Like I said, it is the first complete tunic I have ever seen for that branch!

Towards the tunic and who will get it, You will find politics in everything short of cheese. Who knows how the magic box works.

I have just had an email from Collector's Guild saying that the Medical Officers Tunic has been pulled from sale as they now realise what it actually is and how rare it is. Oh well, never mind. At least I can look elsewhere for other items.

I would be very surprised if it stays the same price. The explanation on the website states that he was informed of it's rarity by a collector so he pulled it.

I wonder if we as collectors would be offered more money from a dealer if they knew our item was worth more than we were asking...

It might be ultra rare, but it is not a field that is overly popluar with collectors... Sorta like the LW Admin tunics! Admin tunics are still FAR less expensive than the cheapest and most common flight piped garment of similar condition, but good luck ever finding one :- ( .

What a small world - talk about coincidences. Look at Ebay (US) German uniforms - newly listed. There is a pair of SB like the ones Paul is talking about. Buy it now for $249. I wish I knew how to do the link - sorry. Someone should contact PaulR. Maybe they are not so rare?

I cannot find the boards you talk of. The boards like those on the medical tunic are very rare... I wish I could find where they are on Ebay...

I have been looking for a set for years.

Are these the ones you were talking about? These are the only related boards with a 249 dollar buy it now price.

If so, they are not the same as the ones I posted. These are the standard Veterinary Officer boards, with a carmine waffenfarbe. The ones I am talking about have an orange-red waffenfarbe, shared with the ordinance officers.
