Yes I also vote "Brown uniform" as the collar/lapels are different for it to be a (standard) tropical tunic,
and a metal eagle is also consitent with that style (as opposed to a cloth tropical breast eagle application)

yes Nick, there is no doubt that its not a tropical tunic. what i am wondering, though, is it correct to be a brown uniform? or is it, at best, private purchase?

just found this on e-stand, an almost exact duplicate of my tunic except with pebbled buttons instead of anchor buttons.

Yes indeed also a KM one like yours but incorrectly restored as Heer Artillery...
Now offered for sale with this explanation. Easy to reverse, buttons are detachable and the rank insignia are T-boards...
