Assault gun trousers

I have this pair that I retain near mint assault gun trousers, a friend of mine consider it a late model of WSS trousers as a pair showed on Beaver's Book.
The trousers are in Italian gadardina and in overall excellent condition.
Give me your opinion please

i would say nice late war trousers, not Assault gun. Not necessarily W-SS either unless marked somewhere, as they could be Heer as well.

Late War

Very nice late War "M44" types with the extra "bandage pocket". Nice pants. The hbt lining in the leg cuffs is found in a lot of SS clothing but also Army. They could be either service.

"Assault gun trousers" are cut in the cuff like panzer trousers, they dip in towards the ankle with a taper. These are still awesome pants and could be used with a wrapper! I imagine later in the War regular pants were worn.
