    What makes it 'political' and not civillian?
    Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

      Are you suggesting that is the jacket Schnickelgruber is wearing? Looks like an issue Windbluse although commercial jackets can look identical.

        Exactly. I think this was a popular style civilian jacket during the period. As shown, even Adolf favored it. My guess is the military copied this style from the civilian rather than vice versa.

          Jacket

          These were worn by the Reichswehr starting in the mid-20s. The military jackets are patterned after civilian coats and they are still made today. An early version of a shell for layering.

          He pulled these jacket images from an earlier post. What gives? Is there a question?
