    Uniform Reference Books?

I have several good books on helmets, I have Figueroa's Tropical Uniform books, I also have a couple older books by Brian Davis. What are some other good books to show details of standard field uniforms (M36/40/43) used by the Heer, and possibly some good books for L/W and SS field uniforms? Thanks, Chris...

The SS part is easy, Micheal Beaver's three vol set on uniforms of the SS is a must have. The book "Camouflage of the Wehrmacht" also has good info. I have enjoyed as well "German Army Uniforms of WWII in color photographs" by Wade Krawczyk.

I am anxiously awaiting "Feldbluse" to be delivered soon.

      Books

      Greetings Chris,

I am an insignia collector and Angolia's UNIFORMS AND TRADITIONS OF THE GERMAN ARMY VOLI-III are a godsend. I just need to find Vol I and III yet. Brian Davis's GERMAN ARMY UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA 1933-1945 is also a mainstay. His UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA OF THE LUFTWAFFE VOL IAND II are very good also with some very nice line drawings of the uniforms! I hope this helps.

        Reference books

Thanks guys! I just got Krawcyzk's book from a forum member, it's a great visual reference IMO, I have had the Davis book for awhile, but didn't know he had L/W books, so I'll take a gander at that. Anyone else have any input. Chris...
