I hope two jackets are, in fact, the same piece although the photographs differ widely. Is their anyone besides me who would think it strange that 3 jackets with the same number should appear at the same time? (This is not a comment on originality --just a comment on coincidence!)

i think that when these where produced they were made in batches acording to size so the numbers would be the same , it is not uncommon ..in werners book page 189 you will see the extact same occurance !

I understand that when they were produced, batches were made. However, we are talking about items taken as souvenirs and passed amongst collectors now scattered over the globe for over 60 years. I just think its a rare coincidence that 2 (if not 3) should appear at the same time here. Once again, this is not an opinion on originality..
I agree, I dont see any problems, just coincidence. the size markings are different as well as the spacing and where the markings are located. I would be very surprised to hear that these are fakes. I remember awhile back a few people in the helmet area here had identical spray camo's on their helmets and some people assumed "fake" when in actuality they were just part of the same group of soldiers in a mass painting. Slim - please show us both sides of yours parka
I'm almost sure that material belt will be triangle ended - also small belts on manquets will be triangle finished. IMHO this is typical for this manufacture
your parka is also in stumpftarn or maybe in splinter pattern ?
I wish to see it on manequin in full equipment
that is third parka from the same factory wich I see - I hope you dont have got mine parka (the same numbers !!) I must check that in my house when I'll go back from work
Same RbNr on camo jackets is not uncommon, provided they look the same and are similar in the making !!
Personally I don't like the measure nrs I see here.
The size indication was enough ( 1 2 or 3 )
My first thought is that these were applied afterwards for a reason unknown to me.
Always make sure to check if the size is according with these numbers.
I have seen fake woolen uniforms were even the size nrs mismatched with the actual size of the jacket !!
Anyway, the jacket is a good wartime example...
the measure stamps, I don't like...
