I am starting this thread for the sake of clarification...
The Tuchrock was made an issued until 1938, where it was to be replaced by the Waffenrock(which was SUPPOSED to replace the Fliegerbluse as well).
Well, from what I understand is that the collars on the Tuchrock were piped with a cord colored to the waffenfarbe of the wearer(in the case of the EM tunics). I also understood that the collars of the EM waffenrocks were also piped for a certain amount to time as well.
My question is, are there any specific subvariations of the Tuchrock that were made to be unpiped?
Here is my example... note the lack of the neck fastening clip. This is definately a Tuchrock, but the collar is not piped.
