    Kurland Cuff title Opinion needed

    I need opinion on this cuff band. It does not match any of original cuff bands shown on WAF. Material look preaty good.

    No glowing under black light.

    The link above may help. However, in my opinion, it is hard to say unless you have some absolute direct provenance on this cufftitle.

    At best, I think you can only conclude it looks like it could be an original, given the materials used look authentic, but it may also be a post war rendition.

        With these non textbook types its all based on provenance. About a year or so ago a member posted pics of a huge hoard of Kurland cuffs that had been aquired by one Russian soldier, they were all stitched or drawn on green backing material, obviously these guys made their own, probably from the same regiment that went into captivity. If you believe in it then keep it.
