    Hello I was wondering what does nva stand for on the inside of the jacket? Thank you.

          The reason for asking is a ladie has a gray east german tunic for sale . She said she wanted $125.00 for it . I thought that was to much? It has the collar tabs on it and sholder boads.

            Some NVA uniforms are very collectible and worth that and more. But vast numbers were (and are) sold at Army/Navy stores for around $15. The price you mention is almost certainly too high, as the odds are that the tunic is not a rarity.

              Chris is absolutely correct!

              1. Collar match the tunic or is it a "dark collar"?
              2. What collor is the waffenfarbe(piping)?
              3. Are there any other identifying features on the tunic, such as cuff titles?
              5. What is the ranking?
