I need your assistance to identify this M36 Infantery Schoulder strap.

There are two reinforcements on outline.

I like what I see. I feel they are legit. have all the qualities I look for in this style. Glenn

A little unusual, but nothing I see makes me doubt its originality. Given the wool piping and dark green badge cloth, it may have started as a sew-in and been modified to a slip-on...the basic pattern for each (save for the tongue) was initially identical.

They look like a nice original pair to me but I would not think them to have been sew-ins. Perhaps that stitch that is referred to is nothing more than an “anchor stitch" for the ends of the piping?
