    Hello,

To me it is junk. Not a well defined pattern. and weak wreath!

Thank you very much Fred, it was/is for sale on a dealer site.

      Regards.

I kind of like it. I think the rear stitching looks period and it's not a typical fake that we see. IMO I think it has a chance.

          Hello,

Here is why I do not like this trap. Here are some cap eagles of the same pattern. Check out the embroidered tropical one. It is junk, do doubt, as the original posted eagle.

              Hello,

I looked for Berven-Padova and came up with nothing. Are you referring to this Italian made cap eagle?

Hello Fred, thanks for your detailed reply.
I see what you meaning, dealer did list it as a French made version, as I only did encounter the French made ones only with the dark backings.

                Regards.

Well well Fred, is that yours?

I have one found in Germany in 1997, in those days bought from Jelinski.
I always thought that it was some sort of privately or custom purchased eagle.

                  Will post mine here to.

                  Regards

Here is my Italian cap eagle, the stains are from a steel MG box in which it was found.
