The white pennant with red police eagle is a very old fake that has been around for at least forty years. I saved this advert from Warner's Military Specialties in Surrey England that I got in 1977. A variety of colors were offered, with the white/red one in the upper right corner of the photo. It was supposed to be traffic, not fire department as it is red, not crimson/pink. Hope you didn't pay too much or can get your money back.
