might be able to watch in person as follows...
1. Create a ~2" long tube of matched color material.
2. Turn new ring tube inside out and hot iron it flat.
3. Trim new ring mount tube length to match others.
4. Razor cut flag edge seam & insert tube with new ring.
5. Sew in matched thread new tube same way as others.
