    Want to purchase Kriegsmarine Germany WW2 50X85 National War Flag

    I am looking to purchase one of the 85X50 German Kreigsmarine Battle National War Flags. I have seen them come up for sale before but the price range from these dealers are absolutely absurd. I wanted to get this as a Christmas present late for my father. Could someone point me in a direction or let me know if they have a REASONABLE one for sale? It doesn't have to be in pristine condition, again this is for a Display I am not a dealer. Thanks!

    Typical RKF retail price is ~$500 USD.
    I suggest that you try the following ...
    1. Post in WAF "wanted" board f=37.
    2. Monitor "e-stand" flag sales forum f=108.
    3. Visit WAF "sponsor" web sites in f=291.
    4. Google search "    Kriegs Flag 50x85" images.
    5. Obtain issue & advertise in "Military Trader".

        I have three and would not let any one of them go for less than $1000 each. The price of $500 is unrealistic

            RKF prices ???

            Just did a google search using
            "ReichsKreigsflag 50x85" as a
            keyword string, and top of the
            page result was one at $695.
            Shop around further online or
            at SOS for even lower prices,
            as RKF's are actually not rare.

              Yeah I actually found one from a very reputable website back in November that I was purchasing and I waited too long and it sold literally the night before I sent payment. There are also other several websites that have them for sale for $450 as well. Which is right around my price range. This whole asking $1000 apiece for them is absolutely absurd. Even $695 is Way too much. I've seen that flag you have posted below, it's been for sale for like four years. That guy over prices things a lot and has a lot of flags but keeps asking between 600 and $1000 for them. Which again that doesn't mean they're worth that that just means he believes they are them, and they don't sell.

              I've been watching the market for a long time. Between $400-$500 for a VERY nice one is the max they are worth. Like you said they are not rear in the slightest. There are certain ones that are a little rarer than others but for the most part they're all the same. I can show you right now where you can get a salty flag that's a 3 x 5 for $250.

                          I hope someone finds a website with a reasonable one for sale on it. I've been looking all over and still no luck. I hope someone responds on here too.

                          Do you think the 85X50 is the best displayable size? It looks as though it's definitely the most desirable. It just seems so hard to find, I keep thinking I find one on a site and it's sold. That's the issue with Google Images. They're all sold!

                            I cant keep this size in stock at $695. To replace them I have a hard time buying them at 85 to 90% of that price out of the woodwork so if you find one for in the 50X85 size for under $500 I would advise you to buy it right away because this is the most popular size for collectors.

                              50x85 is a nice size but you can also look for 80x135 and they are easy to find and display.

                              Here is a picture from my man cave that show two flags in size 80x135
