Large Waffen SS Flag

Hello,

I am being offered this flag and would like to hear some opinions on it. It is unmarked and very large...about 11 feet long with a few inches taken off the end of the flag for some reason. The flag is double sided with both sides being stitched on.

Please let me know what you think.

Hi to me the flag shows a lot of age but I have not seen them with these metal clips before. The material looks right. The bunting also looks correct . The way the rope is sew doesn't match the way the Germany made them . Also the ones I seen were printed but it looks correctly sew around the circle for the runes. It could have been one made by someone at home for use back then. Cliff

IMO, an authentic WW2 era SS flag base on
several distinct details - correct wool material
with selvage edges, known "real" SS type flag
rope loops, and snap hook use, having across
fly end extra stitching, right size & proportions.
IMO very rare, & well worth several thousand $.
