Ditto on both comments. Indeed very nice, especially with
all the pole mounting rings intact. Chain stitched corner patch
lettering, white edge cording, and the silver color metallic twist
fringe, are exactly what a one likes to see on a NSBO flag.

                  Thanks for comments chaps.

I think the Germans completely nailed it when it came to the design of the flags not to mention the uniforms, daggers, medals, weapons etc etc. the list goes on.

                  Cheers

                        Hi Guys

What would be a fare price to sell this at. Send me a PM if you don't want to post something here.

I also did a bit of research on it and had some correspondence with a man living in Zirndorf. Will photograph his letter to me later. There was a US Army Base there after the war.

                          Interesting yarn from Zirndorf.

Funny the bit about the consequences of De Nazification.

                          Hope you can read.

                          Cheers

                          Ross

PS the e mail on letter is no longer valid.

                            Hi Tsuba,

Prices are very subjective of course.

If listed on a dealer website it would probably average out between $850 to $950.

                            Collector to collector,probaly between $500 to $700.

nsbo are very.very common and too be honest this isn't a $1300 flag

                            Regards

Thanks for that. It may be going back to Germany close to its home town. My price was based on its pristine condition, and quality of construction and materials. Most of the flags you see like my one are no where as good.

                              Anyhow we will see.

                              Cheers
