    d-h-f:
Same repro DE banner type that was in the Berlin DHM display.
These were sold at retail in the 1970's for around ~$200 USD.
Note back damage as heavy wire was stiff and didn't bend well.

(below) Another decades ago repro example, note font error.

        Hello Gian:
I had a chance to buy one of the "mounted" (R)
style DE tops back in the 1970's for $2000 USD,
but I didn't as that was at the time 10 times the
price of unit flags of greater collecting interest.
There were at least 134 "mounted" (R) types, plus
        a TBD count of SA-R & SS-R examples too - see DE
book for a list of those.

What does an NSFK look like? I had someone tell me they were offered one but they passed as they wanted the traditional SA one, so I assume there is some kind of difference?

The top pictured by Gian was used for the DE of the Mounted SS, NSKK, and the NSFK. The Reiter SA used a pole top with the same eagle but with a longer pole sleeve and with 2 fittings that hold a perpendicular metal arm to which the flag is attached.

Here's another banner for sale at Relics of the Reich, priced at about 27k, condition is very good.

Lost provenance but recovered in Germany near the French border.

"...minor abrasions to the silk and a small hole on the front side & the red, white and black wool fringe shows a few missing strands."
