Gun show pickup, Party podium banner

Hello folks,

I picked up this flag today at our local gun show.

The swastika is printed on the white disc, the disc itself is a separate piece and not just printed on the red base flag.
This indicates 'at least for me' that the flag was made at around 1939 - 1942....Please let me know your thoughts.

This banner also comes with the additional channel at the bottom to insert a wood or steel rod in order to hang the flag without any wrinkling. Both ends of this channel have leather reinforcement on the backside.

The fringes are in great condition, it's amazing how these things were made...base material is fabric, wrapped in some sort of golden yarn.... Just beautiful.

Nice, IMO podium banners are too underrated. I have a similar banner, maybe smaller, with the dowels sewn into it. Nice close ups of the aluminum wrapped fringe by the way. Congrats

Congratulations! I had that podium banner in my hands but I couldn't justify $110. I guess that I just don't like podium banners much. I did pick something else up from the same gent though. He must have had a good show.

Imho $110 would be a bargain for that banner, I would buy them all day long for that money

The flak cap was very nice, are you mind me asking how much you paid for it?
It seems like that I paid quite a bit more than what he would have charged other collectors...

He may have just misquoted me a price on the banner Saturday morning and then sold it to you for whatever price. Or it could be that he and I have done over $1000 in deals in the past few weeks.

All I know is your lucky that I am not into podium banners because I had it in my hands before you. I am lucky that your not into flak caps because I didn't pick it up until this afternoon so you could have had it before me.
